The TXB1.PBUS connects directly to the self-forming TX-I/O island bus on the DIN rail. It provides the necessary power supply generation and signal conversion to enable communication between TX-I/O modules and existing P-Bus automation systems. It handles both data translation and 24 V DC power distribution across the module bus.

Important Considerations (Precautions)

  • Parallel Power Operations: Up to 3 power supply modules can operate in parallel with a single bus interface module, but no more than 1 additional supply per individual I/O bar section.
  • Power Supply Class: Use SELV or PELV Class 2 AC 24 V power sources to maintain compliance and system safety ratings.
  • Bus Termination: Ensure proper bus covers and end terminators are installed on the rightmost edge of the TX-I/O bar to prevent signal interference.
