• BBMD Configuration: When installed on a routed IP network across multiple subnets, configure the PXG3.L as a BBMD (BACnet Broadcast Management Device) or register it in the Foreign Device Table (FDT) to prevent missing BACnet broadcasts.
• Real-Time Clock Backup: The internal clock is backed up by an internal supercap for up to 3 days; longer outages will cause loss of local time synchronization until re-synced via the network.
• Security: Avoid exposing the router directly to public WAN addresses; always deploy a hardware firewall or VPN tunnel when configuring remote access.
