The Schneider Electric LE1M35U716 is a pre-wired, enclosed Direct-On-Line (DOL) motor starter belonging to the TeSys LE1M series. Important Usage & Installation Precautions

• Current Range Matching: Verify that the connected motor’s Full Load Current (FLC) falls strictly within the 8.0 A to 11.5 A adjustable range. Adjust the dial on the internal thermal overload relay before energizing.
• Coil Voltage Check: Ensure the control circuit supply voltage strictly matches 240 V AC. Applying incorrect control voltage can burn out the coil or cause failure to latch.
• Short-Circuit Protection: The thermal overload relay only protects against overload currents. Upstream branch circuit protection (molded case circuit breaker or suitable fuses) must be installed to handle short-circuit faults.
• Cable Gland Sealing: Maintain the IP65 rating by using correctly sized IP65-rated cable glands at the knockout entries to prevent moisture and dust ingress.
