The KFD2-STC4-Ex1 is a high-performance SMART Transmitter Power Supply isolated barrier. It is designed to provide power to 2-wire SMART transmitters in hazardous areas and transfer the current signal to the safe area.
1. Product Description
This isolated barrier is used for intrinsic safety applications. It supplies 2-wire SMART transmitters with energy and can also be used with 2-wire SMART current sources. It transfers the analog input signal to the safe area as an isolated current value. Digital signals may be superimposed on the analog values in the hazardous or safe area and are transferred bi-directionally (HART communication).
