- Lighting Requirements: Due to its fixed effective aperture (F12), the lens allows less light to pass through than standard macro lenses. High-intensity illumination (like localized LED bar lights or structured ring lights) is strongly recommended.
- Dust & Cleanliness: Because it resolves down to 5.4 µm, even microscopic dust particles on the lens element or the camera sensor will appear as sharp, unwanted artifacts in your image. Clean with specialized optical wipes only.
- Mechanical Alignment: Ensure the camera sensor plane is mounted exactly perpendicular to the target surface. If tilted, one side of your image will fall outside the tight 0.42 mm depth of field.
