The 8-Channel Isolated Analog Input Card interfaces field transmitters (measuring pressure, temperature, flow, etc.) with the central controller. Unlike standard high-density cards that share a common ground across all channels, this module features galvanic isolation for every individual channel. This means an electrical fault, short circuit, or ground loop on one field instrument remains completely isolated and cannot corrupt the readings or damage the circuitry of the other seven channels.
