The Honeywell 51308301-175 (Model CC-TCF901) is a Control Firewall (CF9) Module belonging to the Experion® PKS Series C automation system. It is designed to secure and manage Fault Tolerant Ethernet (FTE) communications between Series C components, such as C300 controllers and Field Interface Modules (FIMs).

Important Considerations & Precautions

• Uplink Connection Requirements: The Control Firewall uplink ports must be connected directly to managed Cisco switch ports configured for PortFast.
• No Stacking: Control Firewall modules must not be stacked; each unit operates within its defined FTE A or FTE B network segment.
• System Rules: All Series C C300 controllers and Series C FIMs must route through a Control Firewall module. Note that hosting legacy C200 controllers through an FTE Bridge (FTEB) on a CF9 module is invalid.
• Redundancy Isolation: Ensure yellow (FTE A) and green (FTE B) network cables are wired to their respective, separate Control Firewall modules to preserve full network redundancy.
