Unlike traditional catalytic bead sensors, the optical infrared detection mechanism used in this module does not require oxygen to operate and is immune to sensor “poisoning” from substances like silicones or hydrogen sulfide. It features an integrated 4–20 mA analog output and is designed to interface directly with industrial control systems, PLCs, or safety hubs.
