Product Detailed Description
The THQL32080 is a 3-Pole (3P), plug-in miniature circuit breaker rated for 80 Amps. It uses a time-proven thermal-magnetic trip mechanism to provide both long-time overload protection and instantaneous short-circuit protection (LI trip function). As a Q-Line breaker, it measures 1 inch wide per pole, making it a compact choice for 3-phase power distribution boards.

Important Considerations & Precautions
- Panel Compatibility: This plug-in breaker is specifically designed to fit GE PowerMark Gold load centers and A-Series panelboards (such as Types AL and AQ). It will not fit bolt-on panelboards or panels from other manufacturers without explicit compatibility listings.
- Resetting Procedure: To reset the breaker after it has tripped, the handle must first be pushed firmly to the extreme OFF position to reset the internal mechanism before it can be switched back to the ON position.
- Torque Specifications: When securing the load wires, ensure the terminal lugs are torqued to the manufacturer’s specification printed on the side of the breaker to avoid loose connections, overheating, and fire hazards.
- Ambient Temperature: Standard thermal-magnetic breakers are calibrated for a 40°C environment. If operated in highly confined or unusually hot enclosures, slight current de-rating may occur.
