The GE / ABB SRPG600A600 is an interchangeable rating plug designed for GE Spectra RMS™ Molded Case Circuit Breakers equipped with solid-state electronic trip units (such as MicroVersaTrip™ Plus and MicroVersaTrip™ PM).

Plugging directly into an SG-600 frame circuit breaker (such as SEDA, SEHA, SELA, or SEPA), this module establishes the breaker’s continuous current rating (I_n) at 600 Amperes without needing to replace the entire circuit breaker frame.

Important Installation & Usage Precautions

• De-Energize System First: Always disconnect, isolate, and lock out all upstream electrical power before inserting, removing, or replacing the rating plug inside the circuit breaker.
• Frame & Sensor Matching: The SRPG600A600 plug must only be used with SG-600 frame circuit breakers fitted with a 600 A current sensor. It is not cross-compatible with smaller (SF, SE) or larger (SK) Spectra frames.
• Proper Seating: Ensure the plug is fully pushed into the trip unit receptacle until locked securely; improper contact can trigger false trip conditions or loss of protection.
• Downstream Protection Coordination: Modifying the rating plug changes the primary trip settings (I_n). Verify that downstream cables, switchboards, and loads are rated to safely handle up to 600 A continuously.
