FOXBORO Terminal Block (also named Termination Assembly) is the matched wiring accessory for FOXBORO I/A Series and Evo DCS systems. It acts as the signal interface between FBM I/O modules and field instruments, transmitters, actuators and sensors. It converts field cable signals into standard signals for DCS I/O cards, realizing centralized wiring, signal shunting, circuit protection and shielding grounding. It adopts modular structure, and each channel corresponds to the I/O module channel one by one. Some versions integrate fuses, surge suppression circuits, LED status indicators and signal conditioning components for analog or discrete signals.

4. Notes / Precautions

1. Install inside control cabinet, avoid direct exposure to dust, corrosive gas, water condensation and strong vibration.
2. Strictly distinguish analog input, analog output and discrete I/O terminal assemblies; do not mix different types.
3. Cut off power before wiring or replacement; take electrostatic protection measures to avoid static damage to internal circuits.
4. Torque the terminal screw to specified value; do not over-tighten to crush wire core or under-tighten to cause poor contact.
5. Connect cable shielding layer to the dedicated grounding terminal of terminal block, single-point grounding to prevent ground loop interference.
6. Regularly check terminal tightness and fuse status during system routine maintenance.
7. Use original FOXBORO termination assembly; generic third-party terminal blocks may cause signal mismatch and system failure.
8. Do not modify internal circuit of the terminal block without factory authorization.
