FOXBORO DCS Workstation Hardware (Host & Monitor) belongs to the I/A Series / EcoStruxure Foxboro DCS platform under Schneider Electric. It consists of industrial host computer and matched industrial monitor, serving as the core human-machine interface for Foxboro distributed control system. It realizes real-time process graphic display, alarm management, historical trend query, system configuration, engineering programming and plant data archiving. The workstation host communicates with DCS control processors and field I/O modules through redundant Nodebus / ACN industrial network, and the industrial monitor displays live production status for operators. It is designed for continuous 7×24-hour operation in industrial control rooms.

4. Notes / Precautions

1. Keep the workstation in clean, temperature-stable control room, avoid dust, condensation, vibration and corrosive gas.
2. Use UPS uninterruptible power supply to prevent sudden power failure damaging hard disk and system files.
3. Do not install non-industrial third-party software on DCS workstation host, avoid virus and system conflict.
4. Do not randomly modify network IP, Nodebus address and system configuration without factory authorization.
5. Regularly back up DCS project configuration and historical data; perform periodic hardware health inspection.
6. When replacing spare parts, must use Foxboro qualified industrial host/monitor, ordinary commercial PC is not compatible.
7. Cut off power before disassembly and maintenance; static protection must be applied to avoid electrostatic damage to circuit boards.
