The 133388-02 is the Main Monitor Board for the 3500/50 Tachometer. It is a 2-channel module designed to process signals from proximity probes or magnetic pickups. Its primary role is to convert transducer pulses into digital timing measurements to determine:

• Shaft Rotative Speed (RPM)

• Rotor Acceleration

• Rotor Direction (Reverse Rotation)

It compares these values against user-programmable alarm setpoints and provides conditioned Keyphasor® signals to the rack backplane, allowing other modules in the system (like vibration monitors) to synchronize their data.

• Magnetic Pickup Limitations: Do not use magnetic pickups for “Reverse Rotation” or “Zero Speed” options, as they require a minimum speed (approx. 3.3 Hz) to generate a signal.

• Module Hot-Swapping: While 3500 modules are generally hot-swappable, always ensure the “Rack Lock” is in the correct position and follow site safety protocols to avoid accidental trips.

• Configuration: The module must be programmed via the 3500 Rack Configuration Software before it will function correctly.
