Standard piezoelectric velocity sensors often fail when exposed directly to the extreme heat of turbine casings. The 330750 system solves this problem with a fundamentally unique design: it segregates the sensing head from the signal conditioning electronics.

The sensor head is mounted directly to the high-temperature surface, while an integrated, flexible hardline cable bridges the gap to the electronics, which are mounted a safe distance away in a cooler location. This hardline cable is permanently attached, eliminating standard connectors that are highly prone to thermal failure.
