The IR423-D4W-2 is specifically engineered to detect insulation faults in complex, non-grounded electrical systems, even when high system leakage capacitances (C_e) are present. It injects a specialized measuring signal into the system to calculate the insulation resistance (R_f) between the active conductors and the earth (ground).
The module features a compact, DIN-rail mountable enclosure with a digital display that provides real-time resistance values and simplifies configuration.

- Dielectric Testing: Disconnect the IR423-D4W-2 from both the monitored network and the ground connection before conducting high-voltage insulation tests (e.g., Megger tests) on the system.
