In many industrial power systems, the operating voltage exceeds the direct input capacity of standard insulation monitors. The AGH420 is specifically engineered to “couple” an ISOMETER® (typically from the iso685 or IRDH series) to ungrounded (IT) systems with high nominal voltages. It reduces the system voltage to a level that the monitoring device can safely process while maintaining galvanic isolation.

- Disconnection for Testing: During high-voltage insulation tests (Megger tests) of the main power system, the AGH420 must be disconnected to prevent damage to the device and the connected monitor.
- Terminal Tightness: Given the high voltages involved, ensure all terminal connections are torqued to the manufacturer’s specifications to prevent arcing.
