The AutomationDirect EA-AC is an optional AC Power Adapter Module designed specifically for the C-more EA7 Series Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs). It allows standard 24 V DC-powered touch panels to be operated directly from a wider range of line-level AC power sources.
Product Detailed Description
By default, standard C-more touch panels require a 24 V DC power supply. The EA-AC module attaches directly to the back of compatible EA7 series panels, converting line-level AC voltage (100–240 V AC) down to the regulated 24 V DC power needed to operate the display, internal logic, and optional expansion modules.

- Temperature Derating: When powering large 15-inch panels (such as the EA7-T15C), ambient operating temperature limits may be restricted to 40°C max due to thermal dissipation considerations.
- Power Capacity: The adapter provides up to 1.5 A at 24 V DC. Ensure that the total current draw of the panel plus all attached expansion modules (e.g., audio modules or option cards) does not exceed this capacity.
- Wiring Practice: Always verify that line (L), neutral (N), and protective earth (PE) are correctly terminated to the terminal block before energizing to prevent equipment damage or electrical hazards.
