Important Considerations (Precautions)

- Laser Safety: Do not look directly into the optical ports or the end of the fiber cable, as the 850nm infrared laser is invisible but can cause eye damage.
- Dust Protection: Always keep the protective dust plugs installed in the LC ports when the module is not in use. Even microscopic dust can significantly degrade optical performance.
- Distance Limits: Ensure the cable length does not exceed 550 meters. For distances beyond this, a 1000BASE-LX module is required.
