The B42 AS-i variant is equipped with 42 total I/O terminals and includes a built-in AS-i bus module. This allows it to act as an AS-i safety monitor or node, seamlessly reading safety signals over an AS-i cable (e.g., light curtains, emergency stops, safety switches) while simultaneously controlling local safety outputs.
