Emerson is now introducing the new Rosemount™ 3144S Temperature Transmitter, a new industrial measurement solution that offers the flexibility to meet the most demanding temperature measurement challenges, significantly improving efficiency, safety, and profitability.
01. More Reliable Measurement
Improved functionality and enhanced application flexibility enable more reliable temperature measurement.
Achieve measurement accuracy up to 0.05°C, meeting the stringent requirements of high-performance measurement.
Offering an optional 20-year stability specification and a 20-year limited warranty.
This significantly expands the application range of Rosemount X-well™ technology (Emerson’s non-intrusive measurement solution), enabling measurement temperatures up to 650°C to meet the challenging requirements of thermowells.
02. Easier Operation
An optimized user interface provides a more advanced and convenient user experience.
Bluetooth® wireless technology enables remote access up to 50 feet (approximately 15 meters) away, improving productivity, reliability, and safety.
Large backlit display with seven language options.
High resolution and backlight design ensure clear readings at all times.
The screen supports Chinese localization, allowing users to switch between different languages as needed.
The product’s user interface has been optimized with a simplified task-based menu design and a unified navigation structure between the host computer and configuration tool, further enhancing ease of use.
A quick service button provides local access to basic commissioning and maintenance tasks, such as viewing the current configuration, performing loop tests, and rotating the display, significantly improving productivity.
03. Enhanced Process Safety
New ReadyConnect™ technology
Data logging and diagnostic features enhance safety
New ReadyConnect™ technology: One-click plug-and-play sensor configuration saves approximately 80% of configuration and commissioning time, while also reducing the risk of errors associated with manually entering sensor information and CVD coefficients.
Guided SIS Proof Test: Proof testing (Proof Test) is a periodic functional check of devices in the safety loop to identify potential hidden faults. Partial or full guided proof tests, combined with logging, simplify periodic safety loop inspections, eliminating uncertainty in safety maintenance and making maintenance operations more efficient and reliable.
Comprehensive diagnostic coverage: Covering sensor health monitoring, dual 4-wire input capability, loop integrity, and thermocouple measurement protection, this system provides comprehensive condition monitoring from the temperature sensor to the control room, providing real-time insight into the status of each measurement point. The loop integrity function continuously monitors the electrical circuit to proactively identify potential faults, while the thermocouple measurement protection function automatically and seamlessly switches to 3-wire wiring if any part of the 4-wire wiring (from the sensor element to the transmitter terminal connection) is broken, corroded, or loosened, ensuring measurement continuity and stability.
More features and applications of the Rosemount 3144S Temperature Transmitter will be presented one by one in the future, so stay tuned!
